Wool is a flame resistant material that naturally absorbs heat and distributes it evenly. When ironing, this results in a fabric that is being heated and pressed from both sides. The ½” thickness of the Custom Wool Ironing Mat also allows it to function as a design wall for quilting, knitting, embroidery and crocheting projects. It’s easy to block and reorganize your finished pieces by pinning them directly into the pad.
